Developing a Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Team in a Mental Health Care System

It is recognized that employees within a mental health care system may have an increased exposure to stressors of a traumatic nature. This article describes the development and implementation of a Critical Incident Stress Debriefing Team, using the model formulated by Dr. Jeffrey Mitchell and summarizes the team's activity during the first year of its implementation.
